Motherhood · Never A Dull Moment

Toddler Love and Appreciation

Last week, I did something for Asempa and he said his usual “Thank you, Mummy,” and then added, “You’re my hero!” In that moment, I felt like all my worries and stresses of life were over. 😂That become the standard format of appreciation for the rest of the week and it never ceased to have such a strong effect on me.

Ayemye would occasionally come and find me in the room (when I decide to leave them in the hall to do their toddler magic there) and give me a long hug. Like someone just took time off his busy toddler day to come and hug me? Really??? 😍

This adulting life … this motherhood journey … it’s these little things that make you feel it’s worth it after all.
